Description
Abyssinia has sent a mission to Washington to offer congratulations to the U. S. on its successful role in the World War. On picturesque native costums they have attracted great attention in the capital. They are: Ato Sinkae (Ato meaning a gentleman of high station); Ato Herouy, Kantiba (mayor) Gabrou, Dedjazzmatch Nado, head of the mission and a duke of the royal abyssinian family, and capt. Paul R. Morrissey, the U. S. army officer detailed to attend the mission. Source: legende au dos de la photo.
